Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to every paid TakeCare Health product:

• TakeCare Pro in the TakeCare app, billed monthly or yearly through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• TakeCare Clinician Portal (portal.takecarehealth.org), billed monthly.
• TakeCare Coach Portal (coach.takecarehealth.org), billed monthly.
• TakeCare Research Portal (research.takecarehealth.org), billed monthly.

Portal subscriptions are paid by card on our websites. Payments are processed by RevenueCat and Stripe; TakeCare never sees or stores your card details.

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you won’t be charged again, and you keep full access until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.

2.1 Portal subscriptions

The account holder cancels from the portal: open the Team tab, then choose Manage billing. You can also email support@takecarehealth.org from the email address on the account and we’ll cancel it for you. When a practice’s subscription ends, everyone in that practice loses access to the portal.

2.2 TakeCare Pro in the app

Cancel in your device’s subscription settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.

Your data is yours either way. Cancelling doesn’t delete anything you’ve logged, and the free features of the app keep working.

All payments are final and non-refundable, except as set out in section 4 (Billing Errors) or where the law requires a refund. In particular, we don’t give refunds or credits for:

• the unused part of a monthly or yearly billing period after you cancel;
• periods when you didn’t use the app or portal, or used it less than expected;
• renewals you didn’t cancel before they were charged;
• moving to a cheaper plan, or from yearly to monthly, partway through a period;
• accounts suspended or ended for breaking our Terms of Service.

Each portal is a monthly plan, so the most you can be charged before cancelling takes effect is one month.

If you were charged by mistake on our websites, for example charged twice for the same period, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, email support@takecarehealth.org within 7 days of the charge. Include the email address on your account and the date and amount of the charge.

If we confirm the error, we’ll refund the incorrect amount to the original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

TakeCare Pro bought in the app is billed by Apple or Google, not by TakeCare, so we can’t issue refunds for those purchases. Apple and Google decide refund requests under their own policies:

• Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Google Play: request a refund in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, or see Google Play’s refund help.

If we change the price of a subscription, we’ll tell you before the change applies to you, and the new price starts at your next billing period. You can cancel before then if you don’t want to continue. We may update this policy; the date at the top shows when it last changed.

Nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund or cancellation that you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you. Where those laws give you more, they apply.
